Welcome to my website. My name is Elizabeth Townsend and I'm a musician, composer, song writer and teacher. The aim of my website is to detail the various areas of my career: songwriting, film and television compositions, AloneMe and session work.

After being classically trained from the age of seven on piano, cello and flute to grade eight standard, I decided to go to Cardiff University to gain a music degree.

On acquiring this qualification, I decided to form an acoustic duo with a friend Dan Cooper and we performed our songs under the name 'LDtrinity' around Essex, London and surrounding counties.

In 2005, I decided to challenge myself further and study for a Masters in Composition for Film and Television.

I am currently a member of AloneMe, playing piano, cello and singing backing vocals. I also do session work for a variety of musicians as well as continue to expand my songwriting portfolio with Dan Cooper. For more information on these areas and upcoming gigs, please browse the relevant pages.
